by H8R You know that feeling right? You're moving along through your day, walking down the road or getting in some exercise. Then, BOOM ! It hits you. That sharp, nagging pain of a rock deeply embedded in your shoe right between the insole and the delicate parts of your foot. It's the worst! So, what do you do? Some would stop everything immediately and get that sucker out of there. Others power through and take it out when it's convenient. Which is the right way to go? This thought came to me as I was getting in my jump rope workout at the park. A nice, big rock got in my shoe while I was jumping rope. Stopping to take it out right then would break a pretty nice streak I had going and disrupt my workout. by Noogie Thanksgiving has just arrived and for the first time since I’ve been here I felt like celebrating the holiday. To me, celebrating means getting my grub on with the traditional Thanksgiving food. Luckily… there was a lovely cafe nearby that was serving Thanksgiving dinner all month long. L'Usine served a fantastic roasted turkey with gravy, roasted sweet potatoes, fried potatoes, steamed broccoli, and of course some cranberry sauce. DIA Blog 015 - What You're Missing Out On At Lawry's The Prime Rib by H8R

by H8R After becoming famous in Beverly Hills in the 1930s, Lawry's The Prime Rib has become synonymous with excellent food and impeccable service. The location I visited in the Umeda area of Osaka is one of the three restaurants in Japan. It's got a fancy feel that hearkens back to the old days of stiff cocktails and simple, yet delicious, food. If you like prime rib, then this is the place for you! The cost is higher than you might pay at your average steak joint, but the quality does not disappoint. My philosophy is to live every day pretty cheaply so you can ball hard when you feel like it! I highly recommend one of the cuts of prime rib over other steak options (I mean prime rib is in the name, right?). The more expensive cuts are usually bigger. You can get the prime rib by itself, or blow a few extra bucks to get the course. The course includes appetizers, soup, salad, and dessert.
